The Whirlwind Missile Tank is a mobile artillery vehicle for Legiones Astartes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Built on the reliable Rhino chassis, the Whirlwind replaces troop transport capacity with a powerful missile array, allowing it to bombard enemy units from across the battlefield.

Ideal for supporting your advance from a distance, the Whirlwind can rain warheads onto key targets, helping clear objectives, disrupt enemy formations, and soften resistance before your infantry move in to claim ground.

Mobile Artillery For The Horus Heresy

The Whirlwind Missile Tank gives Legiones Astartes commanders a flexible artillery platform that can strike from relative safety. Its missile launcher is capable of unleashing different warheads, making it useful against a range of battlefield targets.

Whether fielded as part of a loyalist Legion or a traitor force fighting for Horus, this tank provides long-ranged fire support that fits naturally into many Horus Heresy army lists.

Weapon And Vehicle Options

Alongside its missile array, the Whirlwind includes two pintle-mounted bolters and smoke launchers. The kit also includes components to add an optional extra pintle-mounted weapon, giving you several build choices for your vehicle.

Optional pintle-mounted weapon choices include a havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon. The combi-weapon can be built in five configurations: bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite charger.

The kit also includes a selection of vehicle upgrades and cosmetic parts, allowing you to personalise your Whirlwind Missile Tank for your chosen Legion or battlefield role.
