Tyranids Battleforce
This Tyranids boxed set is an ideal way to start a new army or expand an existing collection for games of Warhammer 40,000. Packed with a powerful synapse leader, fast-moving ambush predators, adaptable warriors, and swarming infantry, it gives Tyranid players a broad and aggressive force for overwhelming the battlefield.
The army is led by a Hive Tyrant, providing a strong connection to the Hive Mind and directing the swarm as it advances. A Lictor and a unit of Von Ryan’s Leapers rush forward to harass the enemy and eliminate key targets, while Tyranid Warriors, Termagants, Hormagaunts, and Ripper Swarms flood the table with bodies to control ground and claim objectives.
A Swarming Tyranids Army Set
Taken together, the models in this box form a terrifying Tyranid force with a strong mix of leadership, speed, melee pressure, ranged bio-weapons, and board control. The Hive Tyrant acts as a commanding centrepiece, while the smaller organisms surge forward to surround, overwhelm, and consume the enemy.
This makes the set a strong choice for building a Tyranids army that can pressure multiple areas of the battlefield at once, forcing your opponent to deal with a wide range of threats advancing together.

Hive Tyrant
The Hive Tyrant kit includes a range of weapon and build options, allowing you to create a powerful synapse leader for your Tyranids army. Weapon choices include two scything talons, a heavy venom cannon, a stranglethorn cannon, or a bonesword and lash whip.
The kit also includes biomorph options such as adrenal glands and toxin sacs, along with additional components for customising your Hive Tyrant. It can alternatively be built as a flying Winged Hive Tyrant or as the legendary Swarmlord.
Lictor
The Lictor is a highly customisable ambush predator with two different head options. The kit includes interchangeable legs, clawed arms, and scenic basing elements, giving you several ways to pose the creature as it stalks across the battlefield.
Joints in the neck and scything talons allow further posing options, including the ability to extend or retract parts of its bladed arms for a more dynamic look.
Tyranid Warriors
The Tyranid Warriors offer a wide choice of bio-weapons and upgrades. Options include lash whips, spinefists, devourers, rending claws, scything talons, deathspitters, paired boneswords, a venom cannon, a barbed strangler, and flesh hooks.
The kit also includes components to build one model as a Tyranid Prime, with its own chest plate, head and crest, shoulder guards, and the option to add a scythed tail. There are enough adrenal glands and toxin sacs to equip the entire unit, along with a choice of four different faces for the Warriors.
Hormagaunts And Termagants
The Hormagaunts include multiple poses that can be combined with a variety of different head designs, making it easy to create a rushing brood of melee creatures.
The Termagants can be armed with one of three biological armaments: fleshborers, devourers, or paired spinefists. The kit also includes special weapon options for three Termagants, allowing one to carry a shardlauncher, one to carry a spike rifle, and one to carry a strangleweb.
Von Ryan’s Leapers And Ripper Swarms
The Von Ryan’s Leapers add fast-moving melee pressure to the army, ideal for harassing enemy units, threatening vulnerable targets, and forcing your opponent to react quickly.
The included Ripper Swarms provide additional Tyranid organisms for swarming the battlefield and adding character to the force.
