This boxed set is a strong starting point for a Necrons army, or a powerful expansion to an existing collection for games of Warhammer 40,000. Focused on fast, aggressive destroyer units, it delivers a compact force capable of overwhelming enemy units with a mix of high-volume firepower and brutal close combat.
A Hexmark Destroyer and a pair of Lokhust Heavy Destroyers provide punishing ranged support, wielding arcane energy weapons to cut down infantry or crack armoured targets. Skorpekh Destroyers surge forward to engage elite and heavy units, accompanied by their Plasmacyte, while Ophydian Destroyers phase and tunnel onto the battlefield to tear through exposed infantry.
Taken together, these units form a hard-hitting and relentless force, well suited to representing a Cursed Legion Detachment. The rules for this detachment can be found in 500 Worlds: Titus – The Battle for Unity Begins, available separately.
This boxed set builds 11 multipart plastic Necron miniatures:
- 1x Hexmark Destroyer
- 2x Lokhust Heavy Destroyers
- 3x Skorpekh Destroyers and 1x Plasmacyte
- 3x Ophydian Destroyers and 1x Plasmacyte
The miniatures offer a range of customisation options. The Hexmark Destroyer includes a choice of two heads. Each Lokhust Heavy Destroyer can be equipped with either an enmitic exterminator or a gauss destructor, and includes a choice of two heads. The Ophydian Destroyers feature interchangeable bodies and multiple head options.
This kit comprises 171 plastic components and is supplied with the appropriate Citadel round bases.
