Citadel Base: Leadbelcher - Dark Gunmetal Metallic Paint

Citadel Leadbelcher is a dark silver metallic base paint, ideal for painting weapons, gun barrels, armour, machinery, vehicle parts, chains, tools and other metal details on Warhammer miniatures.

As a Citadel Base paint, Leadbelcher is designed to provide strong coverage and a solid metallic foundation, making it a useful first step for steel, iron and gunmetal effects. It works especially well over a black undercoat for darker, battle-worn metal, or over a lighter undercoat where a brighter metallic finish is preferred.

For quick tabletop results, apply Leadbelcher as the main metal colour, shade with Nuln Oil for depth, then highlight with a brighter silver such as Ironbreaker or Stormhost Silver. This makes it a strong choice for Space Marine weapons, Ork scrap metal, Necromunda equipment, fantasy armour and general miniature metalwork.
