Mirelurk is a catch-all term for a variety of heavily mutated crustacean or turtle species. Among the first mutants to be encountered, they are tenacious survivors, heavily armoured and extremely deadly for anything too slow to outrun them.
Queens are a rarely seen species, but are at the top of the Mirelurk food chain, towering over even Super Mutant Behemoths: rivalling them in both speed and power.
