Terrorgheists are a species of bat that have grown to a size rivalling that of dragons, able to hunt horses, caravans and other large prey items with disturbing ease. Necromantic power flows through their veins, allowing them to recover from all but the most serious wounds, and allowing powerful vampires and ghouls to appropriate these deadly ambush predators as frightening war mounts.
Ancient bones animated by dark magic saturating their resting place, particularly powerful undead may raise long deceased dragons into servitude. Surrounded by a miasma of rot, propelled by tattered wings and powerful muscles, even in death a zombie dragon is capable of breaking an army by itself.
